Cancel or Change Plans

Plan changes affect your available credits, request limits, API key access, and renewal cycle.

Use this page to understand what may happen when you upgrade, change, or cancel a plan.

Upgrade or Add More Access

If a higher plan is available in the dashboard, you can select it from Dashboard: Managing Subscriptions.

Depending on the plan, upgrading may:

  • Redirect you to Stripe Checkout.
  • Add more usage credits.
  • Add more request capacity.
  • Extend or update the current access cycle.
  • Update the API key limits tied to the plan.

After changing plans, check API Key Management to confirm your key and limits.

Change Plans

Changing plans may require support if the dashboard does not provide a self-serve option.

Contact support when:

  • You need to move from a paid plan to a custom plan.
  • You need a custom usage limit.
  • You want to move from one billing arrangement to another.
  • The dashboard does not show the change you need.

Cancel a Plan

If cancellation is not available directly in the dashboard, contact support to cancel or adjust your plan.

When requesting cancellation, include:

  • Account email.
  • Current plan.
  • Whether you want to cancel immediately or at the end of the current cycle.
  • Any billing questions that need to be resolved.

What Happens to API Keys

When a plan is canceled, expires, or loses active status, API keys tied to that plan may stop working.

Depending on account state, you may see:

  • Expired key behavior.
  • Invalid API key responses.
  • No remaining credits.
  • Request limit reached responses.

Before changing a production plan, make sure your application can handle authentication or quota errors gracefully.

What Happens to Credits

Credits and request limits are tied to plan access.

If a plan changes, remaining usage may be updated based on the new plan or billing arrangement. For custom cases, contact support before assuming unused credits will carry over.
